We try to collect as little data as possible. This page explains what happens when you visit picoin.today.
What we collect
- No accounts and no forms. You don’t need to register, and the site doesn’t ask you to enter personal data.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, browser type, time) for security and operations.
- Email. If you write to contacts@picoin.today, we keep your message and address only to answer you and to fix any problem you reported.
Cookies and local storage
The site doesn’t set advertising or tracking cookies. To respect the rate limits of public APIs, your browser may store short-lived market data in sessionStorage for a minute or two; it is deleted when you close the tab.
Third-party requests
Live widgets request public market data directly from your browser, so those providers (for example CoinGecko, and open.er-api.com for exchange rates) can see your IP address and standard request headers under their own privacy policies. Some pages also load images and fonts that we host ourselves.
External links
Links to other websites, including exchanges and wallets, are governed by those sites’ privacy policies. We don’t receive any information you enter there.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU or UK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Email us and we’ll respond.
Changes
We’ll update this page if our practices change.
